I just placed my first letterbox in the last few days, here in
southeast Iowa. Bike Run at West Point, LEE Co. IA.
I was able to find 7 of 8 boxes placed in the area by local
students, and it was fun.
A bit different than geocaching, but still fun.
I have 8 geocaches placed and 93 found in last 3 years.
Gas prices are a fright, so that is slowing me down with
both hobbies.

Hello Fellow Iowan Letterboxer,
I live in east central Iowa, and I've noticed all the action going
on in your corner of the state. I hope to get down that way
sometime this summer to find the boxes y'all have placed. Gas
prices certainly make me think twice about many extra miles. That
really stinks.
